Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Services. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

• You may create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or phone number authentication.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
• Circumvent rate limiting, security controls, or access restrictions
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent referral data
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Services
• Post harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content in community features
• Impersonate another person or entity

4. Seen Disciples Affiliate Program

4.1 Enrollment

The Seen Disciples program allows approved participants (“Disciples”) to earn commissions by referring new subscribers to the Seen app through personalized referral links.

4.2 Commissions

• Commission rates are set at 50% of net revenue (after Apple/Google platform fees), unless otherwise specified in your partner agreement.
• Commissions are calculated on net revenue after applicable app store cuts (typically 30%).
• Payouts are processed monthly on the 15th via Stripe Connect, subject to a $10 minimum balance.
• You must have a verified Stripe Connect Express account to receive payouts.

4.3 Attribution

• Referrals are attributed using device fingerprint matching within a 48-hour window for exact matches and a 24-hour window for fuzzy matches.
• A referral cookie with a 30-day lifespan is used to maintain attribution across sessions.
• Seen reserves the right to adjust attribution windows and matching criteria.

4.4 Prohibited Referral Practices

• Self-referrals (referring yourself to earn a commission)
• Incentivized clicks (paying or rewarding users to click your referral link)
• Misleading advertising or false claims about Seen
• Spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive marketing
• Any form of click fraud or artificial traffic generation

4.5 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Disciple account, withhold commissions, and/or reverse payouts if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent activity.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Seen app subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and managed by Adapty. All subscription purchases are subject to the applicable app store's terms and conditions. Refund requests for app purchases must be directed to the relevant app store.

6. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by Seen Bible and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services without our prior written consent.

7. Community Guidelines

Our community features (posts, comments, discussions) are intended to foster a positive, faith-centered environment. Content that is hateful, harassing, explicit, or inconsistent with our community values may be removed. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEEN BIBLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR COMMISSIONS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
