Seen Bible (“Seen,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Seen mobile application, the Seen Disciples affiliate platform, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and/or phone number.
- Profile Information: Display name, profile photo, and preferences you choose to share.
- Payment Information: For Seen Disciples affiliate payouts, Stripe Connect collects and processes your banking and identity verification information. We do not directly store your financial details.
- Community Content: Posts, comments, and messages you share through our community features.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, screen dimensions, language, and timezone.
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, click and scroll interactions, and time spent within the Services.
- Referral Data: If you arrive via a referral link, we collect a device fingerprint (hashed) to attribute your visit to the referring Disciple partner. This fingerprint is a one-way cryptographic hash and cannot be used to identify you personally.
- IP Address: Collected for rate limiting, fraud prevention, and approximate geolocation. IP addresses stored in tracking records are not accessible to client-side applications.
- Cookies: We use a single referral cookie (
seen_ref) with a 30-day lifespan to maintain referral attribution. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

- To process affiliate referrals and commission payouts
- To communicate with you about your account and our Services
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud and abuse

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service Providers: Firebase (authentication, database), Stripe (payment processing), and Adapty (subscription management) — only as necessary to operate the Services.
- Disciple Partners: Aggregate, anonymized referral metrics (click counts, conversion counts). Partners never receive personally identifiable information about referred users.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including Firebase Authentication, server-side data validation, rate limiting, and encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS). Sensitive tracking data is stored in server-only Firestore collections not accessible from client applications. Fingerprint data is stored as irreversible cryptographic hashes.
5. Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
- Click Records: Unmatched clicks are marked as expired after 72 hours and permanently deleted after 30 days.
- Conversion Records: Retained for the duration of any related commission obligation, then anonymized.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Object to certain processing activities

7. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.

Our Services integrate with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, hosting
- Stripe — Payment processing for affiliate payouts
- Adapty — Subscription management
